Optional website measurement

Google Tag Manager (GTM-WZV2ZP6J), provided by Google, and Meta Pixel load on general public pages when your regional rules and privacy choices permit. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, we ask you to accept cookies before optional tracking loads. If your region cannot be determined, we also ask before loading. Outside those regions, no pop-up is shown by default and applicable advertising opt-outs still apply.

Loading Tag Manager shares your IP address and browser information with Google to manage optional website measurement tools. The container inspected on 26 October 2026 contained no published tracking tags. Adding analytics or advertising tools requires updated disclosures of their data, recipients and purposes before enabling them.

Optional tools run separately from the page and are not loaded on My Hop, fact-find, login, admin or booking-form pages, or URLs containing query strings. Mortgage answers, financial details, login links and account data are not shared through these tools.

Your choice and withdrawal

For US visitors, we do not require a GDPR-style opt-in banner by default. You can opt out of optional advertising tracking through Your Privacy Choices, including sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable state laws such as California’s. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals; these override a saved choice to allow tracking. Choices apply immediately and across open tabs on this browser. Cookie settings lets you change your choice; opening settings does not change it.

Meta Pixel and advertising data sharing

Meta Pixel base code (Hop Dataset, pixel 1699785328483284), provided by Meta Platforms, sends PageView on general public pages when regional rules and your privacy choices permit. Loading Meta’s code shares IP address, browser/device information and public page activity with Meta. The purposes are measurement and advertising optimization; this sharing may constitute sale or sharing under applicable US state laws. The pixel runs in an isolated frame without access to your mortgage answers, customer account or the main page’s cookies; isolation may limit measurement, attribution and advertising-cookie functionality. Acceptance permits new page visits only; previously blocked activity is not replayed.

Meta’s available checks on 26 October 2026 reported restricted use off and automatic matching disabled. These settings do not authorize sharing sensitive financial information. Lead events are not enabled for the current mortgage and financial forms; we do not send those submissions or claim they are measured by Meta. A successful eligible non-financial form would need separate assessment before enabling Lead measurement.

We do not send mortgage balances, lender details, financial answers, account information or login credentials to Meta. Opting out will block optional advertising transmission, not just remove identifiers. We do not upload customer lists or use advanced matching in this setup. A previous rejection, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track blocks loading even outside consent regions. In consent regions, tools remain off until you accept. Blocking cookies or withdrawing acceptance stops future optional tracking without affecting booking or My Hop. Contact us about previous choices or information already sent.

We store a random visitor reference in your browser, each acceptance or rejection, its time and region, and the version of the notice shown. The current notice describes Google and Meta, the technical and public-page data shared, and measurement and advertising purposes. Withdrawal preserves earlier acceptance evidence. These records are not connected to your mortgage account. Acceptance under the previous Google-only notice is not treated as permission for Meta; we ask again where consent is required.

Essential services

Storage needed for sign-in and your privacy choice remains available regardless of optional tracking consent. Mortgage information is used to provide the services you request, not for this website measurement setup.
